Long distance lorry driver spots dog head pop out of black bag on motorway lay-by!

We have an update for you all, Rocco went missing from his garden in the early hours of this morning. This morning around 7am, a long distance lorry driver about to head down the M54 to Telford happened to glance across at the layby, he was shocked to see a dogs head pop up out of a black bag. He stopped and went to investigate. There was a little dog who had been placed into a black bag, the bag had been tied around the dogs neck to stop him from getting out. The driver and drivers mate untied him and put him into their truck. Not knowing the protocol for stray dogs, they picked him up and put him in their van and continued with their work. Tonight Joe has got home and starting searching the internet for missing dog appeals and found our alert. We have confirmed the dog in the black bag is Rocco. Rocco is safe with Joe for the time being in Hull and owner is in touch with Joe too to make arrangements to bring him home.

Found 18 miles from home.
